CES Wings Express students have fun playing games

Campbellsville Elementary School Wings Express students are working hard, but having fun, too.

At Wings Express, students first have a snack and work on their homework.

But after the work is done, students enjoy time playing games together.

Students recently played board games, built with Legos, colored, made designs with beads, built a race track and much more.

At Wings Express, students receive help with reading, math, science, technology, social skills and more. They also participate in activities to learn about nutrition.

Wings Express students stay at school from 3 to 5 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays and from 1 to 3 p.m. on Fridays for activities.

There are no Wings Express activities on Wednesdays.

Students are given a snack and then divided into groups to participate in programs that best fit their needs.

About 90 students will participate in the Wings Express program.

Amanda Barnett is Wings Express director.

For more information about the program, call Barnett at (270) 465-4561 Ext. 31141.
