CES students race to proficiency

Campbellsville Elementary School students are racing to proficiency.

All CES students undergo Measures of Academic Progress testing several times during the school year, and teachers have recently developed a new way to keep track of student progress.

A racetrack has been laminated and hung in a hallway to help students see their progress.

Each student has been given a car with their secret number on it, and, as they improve their MAP score, their car will race ahead on the track.

The majority of the cars are nearing the highest scores possible.
