CES art students draw seascapes

Campbellsville Elementary School second-grade students are drawing and coloring seascapes.

In Adrienne Hash’s art class, students are learning about the crayon resist technique.

After drawing fish, submarines, plants, boats and other creatures, students colored part of their seascapes with crayons.

This week, students will use watercolor paints to add color to their sky and body of water.

When they add paint to their drawing, it will resist the crayon.

The students enjoyed learning a new technique to making under the sea drawings.
