CES kindergarteners use math to make Christmas trees

Campbellsville Elementary School kindergarten students recently used math to help them make their own Christmas trees.

Students in Nikki Price’s class were given several rectangles of green paper and asked to put them in order according to size.

Once the papers were in order, students had made their own Christmas trees.

They then glued their pieces of paper to a large piece of construction paper and added a trunk and a star.

To finish their trees, students used crayons to add ornaments.
