CMS eighth-grader to play in football nationals

Campbellsville Middle School eighth-grader and football player Arren Hash has advanced to a national playoff game.

 

Hash was named to Football University’s national Team Kentucky, and the team has won all of its games, to advance to the nationals.

 

Team Kentucky won the FBU Super Regional last weekend in Atlanta, Ga., with wins over South Atlanta by a score of 29-0, Tampa by a score of 11-8a and Dade County by a score of 32-0.

 

Team Kentucky now advances to the FBU National Championship in Naples, Fla., on Dec 17-20.

 

Hash is quarterback for Team Kentucky, and also for the CMS team.

 

Will Griffin and Bronson Gowdy, who help coach the CMS football team, are offensive coordinator for the team and coordinator for FBU, respectively.

 

Gowdy has begun a Go Fund Me campaign to help raise money for the team’s travel expenses.
