CHS students decorate Christmas tree at nursing home

Campbellsville High School students recently decorated a tree to help bring Christmas cheer to residents at a local nursing home.

CHS Family, Career and Community Leaders of America students Krysten Hill and Madison Lewis decorated a tree with purple and gold ornaments at The Grandview Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility in Campbellsville.

To complete the tree, Hill and Lewis placed purple and gold presents underneath the tree.

Grandview hosts a Hall of Trees event each year in which local businesses decorate trees and donate items to be auctioned to raise money for the local Toys for Kids and Toys for Tots efforts.

The CHS FCCLA tree was featured as a part of the Hall of Trees event, and will remain on display through the Christmas season.

Deanna Campbell is the CHS FCCLA advisor.
