CHS volleyball team hosts camp

 

Campbellsville High School volleyball team recently hosted a camp for students in third through eighth grades.

 

About 10 campers participated, along with the CHS volleyball team.

 

Campers learned proper volleyball techniques and fundamentals such as serving, passing, setting, blocking and hitting.

 

CHS volleyball team hosted a youth camp recently. CIS hires School Resource Officer

 

Campbellsville Independent Schools’ students will begin the 2018-2019 school year in a few weeks, and will see a new face in the hallways.

 

CIS has contracted with Campbellsville Police to employ a School Resource Officer, who will be stationed at the Campbellsville High School campus.

 

Officer Charlie Houk has been assigned to the SRO post.

 

While Houk’s office will be at the CHS campus, he will provide safety and security at Campbellsville elementary, middle and high schools.

CIS releases bus routes for 2018-2019

 

Campbellsville Independent Schools’ bus routes for the 2018-2019 school year have been released.

 

All routes are subject to change.

CES PTA to meet July 21

 

Campbellsville Elementary School PTA will meet on Saturday, July 21.

 

The meeting will be at the school at 10 a.m.

 

Items on the agenda include the officer election process and an upcoming fundraiser.
