CHS boys’ basketball players take Eagle Walk

Campbellsville High School boys’ basketball players took an Eagle Walk through Campbellsville Elementary School on Wednesday, Feb. 28.

 

The team took on Bardstown on Wednesday, Feb. 28, in the first round of the 5th region tournament.

 

CHS won the game by a score of 57-55.

 

In the second round of the tournament, CHS will battle John Hardin High School on Monday, March 5, at 6 p.m. at Marion County High School.

 

Before the game vs. Bardstown, players walked through the CES building, giving high-fives and receiving congratulations from the younger students.

 

The CHS team is the 20th District tournament runners-up. Along with the titles comes the Eagles’ first 5th region tournament appearance since 2010.

Tim Davis is in his 23rd year as CHS boys’ basketball head coach.

 

Assistant coaches are Cody Wills, Will Griffin, Chris “Scoop” Smith and Chris “Peewee” Smith.
