Campbellsville High School’s Fellowship of Christian Athletes group will host its annual See You at the Pole event on Wednesday, Sept. 27.
Students, teachers, administrators, staff members and members of the Campbellsville/Taylor County community are invited to the CHS flagpole at 7:15 a.m.
The time will be used for those attending to come together to pray for schools, the community and the nation.
Shajuana Ditto, who is the assistant coach of the CHS volleyball team, will be the featured speaker.
The theme of this year’s SYATP event is “Fix Our Eyes.”
Students will read scripture and lead prayer, and there will be special music.
FCA members recently met to plan the annual event.
They also played the behind the curtain icebreaker game. In the game, two people stand on opposite sides of a curtain. When the curtain is dropped, the first person to say the other’s name wins.
FCA meets each Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. at CHS.
CHS teacher Cheryl Dicken and Campbellsville Elementary School physical education teacher Lynn Kearney are the FCA sponsors.
For more information, contact Dicken at (270) 465-8774.
