CES students write sentences

Campbellsville Elementary School students recently practiced writing complete sentences.

Kindergarten students are learning how to write several words together to form sentences.

They are studying the space needed between words and the punctuation necessary to end a sentence.

As an exercise, students were given a sentence written in highlighter and then traced it to practice their writing skills.

After writing their sentences, students cut the words apart and placed the pieces in an envelope.

Students will use the pieces of paper to practice putting together a sentence.
