Campbellsville Elementary School kindergarten students are spending several weeks studying colors.
Students in Lisa Wiseman’s, Kimberly Clark’s, Nikki Price’s and Leanna Cundiff’s classes began celebrating Color Week recently and will continue for the next several weeks.
Each week, students study all about a specific color and then dress in that color each Thursday.
Students read books about the color, list objects that are always that color, taste foods that are the color of the day and much more.
Recently, students learned about the color yellow. They sampled lemons, bananas, lemonade and pineapple.
Eventually, students will study the colors red, yellow, blue, green, orange, white, brown, black, pink and purple.
