CES student featured in book

Campbellsville Elementary School third-grader Natalia West has been featured in a book about children and their fathers.

A photo of West and her father, Michael, was chosen from thousands of entries to be included in the book “I Wonder: Celebrating Daddies Doin’ Work” by Doyin Richards.

The book features a story and photos depicting what fathers do with their daughters, from styling hair to carpooling to cuddling to playing with toys and more.

The photo of West is of her and her father dressed in Halloween costumes standing in a lake.

Richards found the photos and stories for his book via a Facebook search.

The process of soliciting stories for the book and then it being created took about two years.

The book is available for purchase at major bookstores and online.
