CES first-graders have fun at CU

Campbellsville Elementary School first-graders recently had fun reading and coloring at Campbellsville University.

CU School of Education hosted the special event, with early childhood education students on hand to teach Hailey Ogle’s first-grade students.

CES students listened to “The Day the Crayons Quit” by Drew Daywalt read aloud and did several activities pertaining to the story.

At one station, students colored pictures of crayons to place on a poster.

Students also made crayon people out of Popsicle sticks and had fun drawing pictures.
