CES Wings Express students have fun

Campbellsville Elementary School Wings Express students recently had an afternoon of fun.

After completing homework, students had fun playing with Play-Doh, dancing, building with blocks, reading and more.

At Wings Express, students receive help with reading, math, science, technology, social skills and more. They also participate in activities to learn about nutrition.

Wings Express students stay at school from 3 to 5 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays and from 1 to 3 p.m. on Fridays for activities.

There are no Wings Express activities on Wednesdays.

Students are given a snack and then divided into groups to participate in programs that best fit their needs.

About 90 students participate in the Wings Express program.

Amanda Barnett is Wings Express director.

For more information about the program, call Barnett at (270) 465-4561 Ext. 31141.
