CES kindergarteners make Mother’s Day flowers

Campbellsville Elementary School kindergarten students recently made a special gift for their mothers.

To celebrate Mother’s Day, students wanted to make a gift to take home.

Students made flowers by first using paint to make handprints on a piece of construction paper. Then, the students added a stem, leaves and flower pot.

On the flower pot, a special message was printed for students’ mothers.

The message reads:

“I am a little flower. I’m grown with love by you. I am getting big and strong. Mom, thanks for all you do!”

When the flowers were finished, kindergarten students took them home.
