CES students make their own spider webs

Campbellsville Elementary School students recently read “Charlotte’s Web” and then made their own spider webs.

Students in Amanda Greer’s first-grade class read the classic book, written by E.B. White.

Greer read the chapter book to the students and discussed the story with them to help the students prepare for second-grade reading.

After they finished the book, students watched the “Charlotte’s Web” movie and then compared it to the book.

Students also made their own spider webs using construction paper and glue.

As a finishing touch, students added objects to their spider web, including their very own Charlotte.
