CES preschool students write letters to kindergarten teachers

Campbellsville Elementary School preschool students are ready for kindergarten.

Before ending the school year on Thursday, May 4, students in Sherry Cowherd’s class wrote letters to their kindergarten teachers to tell them a little about themselves.

Students wrote their favorite part of CES, who their best friends are, their favorite color, what they like to do when not at school and what they want to learn in kindergarten.

And, at the bottom of their letters, they drew a self-portrait.

Copies of the letters will be given to the students’ parents and to their teachers for the 2017-2018 school year.
