CES students learn about dental hygiene

Campbellsville Elementary School kindergarten students recently learned how to keep their teeth healthy.

Dental hygienist Jennifer White, who works at Dr. Randy Smoot’s dental office in Campbellsville, recently spoke to kindergarteners about the proper way to brush their teeth.

She also told them they should always brush in the morning and before they go to bed.

White talked to students about healthy foods they can eat. She also showed them a container to represent how much sugar they consume when drinking soft drinks.

She brought a model to show students how to brush, and gave them each new toothbrushes.

And White read a book to students entitled “Bear’s Loose Tooth.”
