CES art students create murals

Campbellsville Elementary School art students recently created their own murals.

In Adrienne Hash’s art class, third-graders have studied the purpose of murals, which are large paintings on inside or outside walls.

Hash said murals depict everyday objects and can show movement and express feelings.

Students discussed the mural “The Market” by Diego Rivera and talked about where their eyes were drawn in the picture.

Hash asked students to make their own murals, thinking about drawing something they enjoy doing in Campbellsville.
