Campbellsville Elementary School students who recently “leveled up” with the Lexia and Reading Plus programs were honored at a school-wide assembly on Thursday, March 30.
Lexia and Reading Plus are technology-based reading programs that help increase reading proficiency for pre-kindergarten students through high school seniors.
About 100 students were recognized at CES on March 30 for increasing their reading proficiency level using the programs from Friday, March 24, through Wednesday, March 29.
Marcia Sharp’s third-grade students and Amanda Greer’s first-grade students were honored for meeting 100 percent usage on Lexia and/or Reading Plus for the week of March 27.
Kindergarteners honored include Hannah Matias, Demarcus Noyola, Bobby Bright, Aubrey Wilson, Treshaun Robinson, Bentley Shively, Davian Taylor, Michael Terry, LeeAnna Garvin, Aubrey Allen, Quincy Travis, Mason Edwards, Joey Bledsoe, Gavin Paris, Mason Dowell, Briley Sapp and Aubrey Novak.
First-graders honored include Brendan Martin, Phoebe Ritchie, Molly Wolford, Shylan Dunn, Maleigha Travis, Journey Webb, Ethan Bailey, Lainey Price, Keitona Whitehead, Marion Mann, Jaxson Hunt, Aiden Forrest, Frehley Whitlow, Hunter Bates, Essence Hunter and Rizzo McKenzie.
Second-graders honored include Gavin Martin, Camren Skaggs, Weston Veltman and Jayden Moore.
Third-graders honored include Cody Tamez, Demetrious Dickens, Zehavah Negron, Destiny Abell and Alexis Roddy.
