CES students have fun learning

Campbellsville Elementary School students are having fun while learning.

In a recent CES Explorers class, students practiced matching words with categories.

Kindergarten students were given a phrase, such as birthday party, and then asked to color and cut out photos of items that can be seen at a birthday party.

Students also drew pictures of the winter, spring, summer and fall seasons.

The activities helped students learn to categorize information.

CES Explorers is one of several activity classes that students have each week. Miriah Cox, who leads the CES Explorers class, teaches students about reading strategies, vowel sounds, parts of speech, reading comprehension and much more.
