CES students make edible snowmen

Campbellsville Elementary School third-grade students recently learned about writing by making edible snowmen.

Students in Marcia Sharp’s class are working hard to sharpen their writing skills.

To help them practice writing directions for a reader to follow, students made snowmen out of marshmallows, icing, pretzels, M&MS and licorice.

After they finished, students wrote their ingredients and step by step directions for someone else to make an edible snowman.

When their writing was complete, students were allowed to eat their snowman creation.
