CES students ‘level up’ with Lexia

Campbellsville Elementary School students who recently “leveled up” with the Lexia and Reading Plus programs were honored at a school-wide assembly on Friday, Nov. 18.

 

Lexia and Reading Plus are technology-based reading programs that help increase reading proficiency for pre-kindergarten students through high school seniors.

 

At CES, 75 students were recognized on Nov. 18 for increasing their reading proficiency level using the programs.

 

First-graders honored include Alexis Williams, Destini Gholston, London Whitlow, Keitona Whitehead, Maleigha Travis, Willow Griffin, Chase Gabbert, Addelyn Dooley, Brady Cox, Kevin Bradfield, Jackson Bates, Ethan Bailey, Nicholas Almeida, Frehley Whitlow, Londyn Smith, Owen Skaggs, Brody Sidebottom, Parker Scharbrough, Zion Mitchell, Anna Keith, Zach Hak, Kinsely Graham, Jo’van Goins, Caydnce Cox, Brenden Chastain, Logan Weddle, Enoch Smith, Gabe Prior, Sarah Parrott, Gracie Murphy, Eric Mixtega, Bryant Mayo, Austin Hamilton, Carter Wethington, Nadia Taylor, Fabrizio Segura, Alexis Mann, Tina Jiang, Trey Guajardo, Steven Gabehart, Breanna Callahan, Madelyn Brunelle and Isabella Brunelle.

 

Second-graders honored include Alijah Henderson, Amory Denham, Zachary Cox, Damien Clark, Yazlyn Sutton, Marissa Sumners, Aaron Ritchie, Evan Lockridge, Hunter Garmon, Aiden Dziabula, Lily Coots, Keylan Strong and Lanigan Price.

 

Third-graders honored include Cody Tamez, Christian Hart, Madie Gebler, Demetrious Dickens, Amaya Anguiano, Eleana Brewer, Brooklyn Boudreaux, Shaiden Calhoun, Austin Sloan, Madison Philpott, Alyssa Knezevic, Mary James, Bobby Engle, Miranda Edwards, Jaden Barbee, Katie Nunn, Ryder Murphy, Keaton Hord and LaDainien Smith.

 

Marcia Sharp’s third-grade class had the highest usage percentage on Lexia and Reading Plus for Nov. 10 through Nov. 17, at 96 percent.
