CES students join ‘Leave Your Legacy Hall of Fame’


Campbellsville Elementary School students were recently honored for leaving their legacy at their school.


In a special ceremony, students who scored proficient on last year’s K-PREP exams in math and reading were recognized and inducted in the CES Leave Your Legacy Hall of Fame.


As they students were honored, they put their handprint on a canvas, which will be hung in the school hallways.

CES students learn about music


Campbellsville Elementary School students recently learned all about percussion from some special guests.


Campbellsville University Steel Band members came to CES to perform and teach students about music and how to play the drums.


Dr. Chad Floyd, associate professor of percussion at CU, helps CES first-grader Bella Stout play a rhythm.

CES celebrates Music Week


Campbellsville Elementary School celebrated Music Week this week, with dress-up days for students and staff members.


The dress-up days coincided with genres of music, and those who dressed up were able to enter their names into a drawing for prizes.


Friday was Beach Day.

CES students named Leaders of the Month


Campbellsville Elementary School recently named its Leaders of the Month for the month of April.
