Campbellsville Middle School recently named its Exceeding Eagles for the week of Jan. 7.
Students who receive the Exceeding Eligible award are those who go above and beyond inside and outside of the classroom, accomplish a goal they didn’t believe possible and excel in their academics and extra-curricular activities.
A male and female student in each grade level receive the honor each week.
Sixth-graders receiving the honor are Kyra Parker and Zeke Harris.
Seventh-graders who were named Exceeding Eagles are Jaylie Moore and Devin Kinser.
Moore’s teachers say she demonstrates a genuine concern for learning and approaches given tasks with a sincere desire to succeed.
Kinser’s teachers say he continues to strive to do his best in class, works well with limited supervision and uses his time effectively.
Eighth-grade students receiving the honor include Aubrey Yong and Aiden Humphress.
