CMS boys’ basketball team takes on Casey County

Campbellsville Middle School boys’ basketball team recently took on Casey County.

 

Sixth-graders fought hard, but couldn’t get the win.

 

Final score was 7-38.

 

Seventh-graders battled to the end, but couldn’t get the win.

 

Final score was 45-63.

 

Seventh-grader Deondre Weathers led his team with 19 points.

 

In the eighth-grade match up, CMS lost by a score of 28-43.

 

Sixth-grader Chase Hord led with 17 points.

 

Joseph Taylor is the head coach. Kyvin Goodin-Rogers is assistant.

 

Before the eighth-grade grade, the CMS boys’ basketball team from the 2016-2017 season was recognized.

 

The team went 21-0 on the season and won the Central Kentucky Middle School Athletic Conference regular season and tournament championship.

 

CMS will take on Taylor County Middle School on Monday, Nov. 27, at 5:30 p.m. at the Taylor County campus.
