CIS employees learn about proposed retirement changes

Campbellsville Independent Schools’ employees recently learned about the proposed changes in the state retirement system.

State Sen. Max Wise, R-Campbellsville, came to the Campbellsville Elementary School campus to talk to the employees.

Wise explained the proposal, released this week, and asked for feedback about it.

He said state legislators will likely meet in special session next month to discuss the plan and potentially vote on it.

Wise said he would like to receive public input about the plan.

To reach Wise, call (270) 572-1054.
