CMS band students take tests

Campbellsville Middle School beginning band students recently took tests to see how well they are playing their instruments.

At the beginning of the school year, students chose an instrument to learn to play.

Music teacher Zach Shelton taught the students to play notes on their instruments, and they soon learned to play songs.

Students chose to play trumpet, clarinet, saxophone, flute, trombone, percussion and more.

For their exams, students recently took turns playing a song and were graded on how well they performed their music.
