CIS superintendent speaks to Kiwanis Club

Campbellsville Independent Schools Superintendent Kirby Smith recently spoke at a Campbellsville Kiwanis Club meeting.

 

Smith, who is in his first year as the District’s top leader, spoke about the months of preparation for the new school year.

 

He also spoke about the many projects happening at the District, from renovation at Campbellsville Elementary School to installing bleachers and a press box for middle school sports and more.

 

Smith said he and all the CIS staff members are focused on making sure all the District’s students ready for college when they graduate, starting with their first day of kindergarten.

 

He introduced the new leaders at CIS, including CES Principal Elisha Rhodes, Campbellsville Middle School Principal Elisha Rhodes and Campbellsville High School Principal David Petett.
