Campbellsville Middle School art students recently drew snowmen using a new art technique.
In Jo Ann Harris’s art class, students are learning about foreshortening.
Foreshortening is depicting an object as compressed when seen from a particular viewpoint, or as if the object is coming toward the viewer.
Students learned about the technique and then put it to practice by drawing snowmen using oil pastels.
They were asked to draw their snowmen as if the view was very close to it.
