CMS boys’ basketball team beats Taylor County

Campbellsville Middle School boys’ basketball team took on Taylor County on Tuesday, Nov. 29.

 

The CMS eighth-grade squad defeated Taylor County in a close game, by a final score of 47-45.

 

Eighth-grader John Orberson led his team with 25 points. Arren Hash and Kameron Smith, also eighth-graders, had 14 and 8 points, respectively.

 

CMS seventh-graders lost by a score of 17-40.

 

Sixth-grader Chase Hord led the game with eighth points.

 

And the CMS sixth-graders lost by a score of 19-34.

 

Hord led with eighth points, followed by sixth-grader Kaydon Taylor with five.

 

Lynn Kearney coached the sixth- and eighth-grade team. Joseph Taylor is the seventh-grade coach.

 

The team will travel to Green County on Monday, Dec. 5, for sixth-, seventh- and eighth-grade match ups. Games begin at 5:30 p.m.
