Campbellsville Middle School fourth-grade students are learning about budgeting.
In Garnetta Murrell’s math class, students recently discussed how much it can cost to cook a Thanksgiving meal.
Using advertisements from local grocery stores, students divided into groups and calculated how much it would cost to buy food for such a meal, and how many people the meal would feed.
Students then discussed how much the meal would cost per person, and how much money they saved by shopping at specific stores.
