CMS boys’ basketball teams defeat OKH

Campbellsville Middle School boys’ basketball team traveled to Bardstown on Monday, Nov. 21, to take on Old Kentucky Home Middle School.

 

The CMS squad brought home two wins.

 

CMS eighth-graders won their game, by a score of 53-29.

 

Eighth-graders Arren Hash, John Orberson and Tristin Faulkner led their team, with 15, 14 and nine points, respectively.

 

OKH defeated the CMS seventh-grade squad by a score of 29-36.

 

Sixth-grader Chase Hord scored nine points, and seventh-grader Dakota Harris had eight.

 

CMS sixth-graders won their match up. Final score was 36-31.

 

Sixth-grader Kaydon Taylor led the team with 12 points. Sixth-grader Chase Hord had 10.

 

The sixth-grade squad trailed the game, however, until about a minute and a half left in the ballgame.

 

Lynn Kearney coaches the sixth- and eighth-grade teams. Joseph Taylor is the seventh-grade coach.

 

CMS will travel to take on Bloomfield on Tuesday, Nov. 22, for sixth-, seventh- and eighth-grade match ups. Games start at 5:30 p.m.
