CMS students named to all-state junior high choirs

Campbellsville Middle School seventh-graders Bia Moura and Gabby Skaggs were recently chosen to participate in all-state junior high choir.

 

Moura and Skaggs will perform at the Kentucky Music Educators Association conference, which is scheduled for Feb. 8-11 in Louisville.

 

The two were chosen to sing in the Soprano, Soprano Alto choir.

 

About 1,200 students auditioned for the junior high choirs, and 200 were chosen to participate in each of the choirs.

 

Other students who auditioned for all-state junior high choir include CMS seventh-graders Alexis Thomas and Cailet Clark and eighth-graders Noah Mardis and Colin Harris and Campbellsville High School freshman Gracyne Hash.

 

Freshmen audition for junior high choir, while sophomores, juniors and seniors audition for high school choir.
