CMS students make art to honor veterans

Campbellsville Middle School students recently made art to honor veterans.

 

Campbellsville Independent Schools hosted a Veterans Day ceremony on Thursday, Nov. 10.

 

In honor of the ceremony, students in Jo Ann Harris’s art classes made art to welcome veterans to the Campbellsville Independent Schools campus.

 

Students have been studying artist Jim Dine, who is known for his pop art drawings of hearts.

 

To make their artwork, students used oil pastels to draw patriotic hearts.
