CMS names Exceeding Eagles

 

Campbellsville Middle School recently named its Exceeding Eagles for the week of Dec. 10.

 

Students who receive the Exceeding Eagle award are those who go above and beyond inside and outside of the classroom, accomplish a goal they didn’t believe possible and excel in academics and extra-curricular activities.

CMS football coaches buy toys for students

 

Campbellsville Middle School football coaches recently took two students shopping for Christmas gifts.

 

The coaches partnered with Thrivent financial consultants firm to buy the gifts, and then took the students shopping.

 

The coaches helped the students pick out new clothing, toys, books and more.

CIS students buy toys for children

 

Campbellsville Independent Schools’ students recently helped buy toys for children this Christmas.

 

Campbellsville Family Resource and Youth Services Center partnered with Thrivent financial consultants firm to buy Christmas gifts for four children in the Campbellsville community.

 

Campbellsville High School Eagle Academy teacher Will Griffin coordinated the effort and formed an action team of students to buy the gifts.

 

Campbellsville Independent Schools’ students recently helped buy Christmas gifts for four children. Students who served on the action team to purchase the gifts are, from left, Campbellsville High School sophomore Kylar Cox, junior Lathan Cubit, Campbellsville Middle School seventh-grader Dalton Morris, sophomores Taylor Knight and Abi Wiedewitsch, junior Danielle Shimek, senior Abbie Dicken, sophomores Destiny Tungate and Jadelyn Caffee, juniors Dillon Whitaker and Blake Allen, freshman Alexis Thomas, freshman Lainey Watson, junior Malachi Corley, CMS eighth-grader Haylee Allen and CHS Eagle Academy teacher Will Griffin, who coordinated the effort.
