CMS students celebrate Red Ribbon Week

 

Campbellsville Middle School students and staff members are celebrating Red Ribbon Week with several special events.

 

Red Ribbon Week is the largest drug prevention campaign in the country, and serves as a way for students to take a stand against illegal drugs.

CIS to host Veterans Day program

 

Campbellsville Independent Schools will host a Veterans Day program for local veterans and community members.

 

The special ceremony will be on Tuesday, Nov. 13, at 9 a.m. in the Campbellsville High School gym.

CIS to host Pink Out, raise money for cancer awareness

 

Campbellsville Independent Schools is raising awareness and money to support those fighting cancer.

 

CIS will host a district-wide Pink Out on Tuesday, Oct. 30.

 

During the Pink Out, students and staff members are encouraged to wear as much pink as possible.

 

And, those who want to wear a hat can do so for a $1 donation. All proceeds will be donated to cancer awareness.
