Campbellsville High School football players were honored at a banquet on Sunday, Jan. 21, for their hard work and success this past season.
This year’s historic season ended in the Class A state semi-finals.
CHS ended its run with a 7-7 record, and making school history.
This was the first time since 1998 and only the third time in school history that the Eagles played in the Class A state semi-finals.
CHS was the Class A Region 1 District 2 champs, along with Class A Region 1 champions.
At the banquet, each player was presented with a plaque in honor of the season, and recognized for their contribution to the team.
This year’s players include:
Seniors – Devonte Cubit, Ryan Wiedewitsch, Ethan Lay, Ryan Jeffries, Austin Carter, Bryce Richardson and Tyrion Taylor.
Juniors – Dakota Reardon, Charlie Pettigrew, Ceondre Barnett, Lane Bottoms, Tristan Johnson and Daesean Vancleave.
Sophomores – Devon Reardon, Malachi Corley, Taekwon McCoy, Blake Allen, Lathan Cubit, Tyler Gribbins, Cole Kidwell, Kelson Griffiths and Braden Paige.
Freshman – Arren Hash, Reggie Thomas and Alex Howard.
Dale Estes is the CHS head football coach.
Assistants are Herb Wiseman, Tyler Hardy, Robbie Gribbins, Bronson Gowdy, Aaron Webb and Will Griffin.
