CHS Beta members compete at national convention

Campbellsville High School Beta Club members recently competed at the national convention in Orlando, Fla.

 

At the state competition in January, nine CHS students won awards and advanced to the national competition.

 

Laura Lamb, who graduated from CHS in May, won first place in photography of the more than 70 entries at the state competition. She went on to compete at the national convention, but didn’t make the Top 5.

 

Caylie Blair, Brenna Wethington and Vera Brown, who also graduated in May, won third place in the banner competition at the state convention. Blair and Wethington went on to compete in the national competition, but weren’t able to place in the Top 10.

 

The national convention was June 29 through July 2 at Walt Disney World Swan & Dolphin Resort.

 

After the competition, Lamb, Blair and Wethington visited Walt Disney World.
