CHS students to raise money for cancer research

Campbellsville High School students are raising money for cancer research, and the deadline to donate has been extended.

 

CHS Family, Career and Community Leaders of America students are conducting a “Pennies for Patients” drive to collect money for leukemia and lymphoma cancer research.

The deadline to donate was Friday, April 28, but has been extended to Friday, May 5.

 

Last year, CHS students collected $273.

 

Overall, the Kentucky FCCLA project raised more than $62,000.

 

Free breakfast will be given to the first period class that raises the most money. Classes must raise 25 cents per student to be eligible.
