CHS softball team takes on Taylor County

Campbellsville High School softball team battled Taylor County on Monday, April 10.

 

In the varsity match up, CHS played hard but couldn’t come up with the win. Final score was 9-22.

 

CHS senior Kailey Morris hit a three-run home run in the fourth inning.

 

For the junior varsity game, CHS players gave it their all, but lost by a score of 4-12.

 

CHS will host Marion County on Monday, April 24, at the field on the Campbellsville Elementary School campus. Game time is 6 p.m.

 

And CHS will host a rematch with Taylor County on Tuesday, April 25. Game time is 6 p.m.

 

Weston Jones is the CHS softball head coach. Matt Schmuck is assistant.
