CHS senior to bowl at LWC

Campbellsville High School senior Jared Brewster will continue his academic and bowling careers at Lindsey Wilson College next fall.

Brewster recently signed his letter of intent in a special ceremony with friends, family members, coaches and teammates.

Principal Kirby Smith said he and all of those at CHS are excited for Brewster.

“You’re getting a good kid. Better than a good kid, a great kid,” Smith said.

He said he hadn’t realized that Brewster was such a good bowler, until looking at his scores from last season.

Smith said Brewster will make a great bowler, but an even better student and person for the LWC team.

“Everything you look for in a young man, to be in a teammate, he’s got,” Smith said.

Brewster thanked his coaches, family members, teammates and friends for their support.

“Thank you for always supporting me and for your patience,” he said.

Brewster said he’s not quite sure yet what he will study at LWC, but is excited to start college in the fall.

He is the son of Suzanne Davis and David Brewster.
