CHS art students attend ‘A Day in the Visual Arts’ event

Campbellsville High School National Art Honor Society students attended the annual “A Day in the Visual Arts” event at Campbellsville University on Friday, March 24, and one took home awards.

 

The event – which included a high school student juried show – was open to CHS and other students as well as the Campbellsville/Taylor County community.

 

CU officials served breakfast, presented awards, gave a tour of CU’s art facilities and had a film screening.

 

CHS senior Tiffany Stagner won first place and second place awards in the painting category.

 

CHS students who attended include freshmen Shelby Hunt and Zoe McAninch, sophomores Jason Agee, Jessie Bennett, Leslie McKenzie, Christina Phipps, Andrea Bryant and Chloe Decker, junior Jay Cox and seniors Kyrsten Hill and Tiffany Stagner.

 

Jo Ann Harris is the Campbellsville middle and high school art teacher.
