CHS students make stir fry

Campbellsville High School students recently learned to make stir fry.

Angie Freeman, expanded foods and nutrition program assistant at Taylor County Extension Office, recently came to CHS to talk to students.

In Deanna Campbell’s foods and nutrition classes, Freeman taught students to make chicken stir fry.

First, students learned the proper techniques to cut chicken.

Then, students chopped onions, carrots, broccoli, mushrooms, bell peppers and zucchinis. They also added broth, soy sauce, sugar, garlic and ginger root.

After the stir fry was cooked, students enjoyed their creation as a snack.
