CHS hosts Empty Nest Night

Campbellsville High School recently hosted an Empty Nest Night for senior students and their parents.

 

CHS College and Career Readiness Counselor Angie Travis spoke, as did admissions counselors from Campbellsville University, Western Kentucky University, Lindsey Wilson College, Eastern Kentucky University and Somerset Community College.

 

Representative from Kentucky Higher Education Assistance Authority and Campbellsville Family Resource and Youth Services Center also spoke.

 

Those attending learned about scholarships, campus life, types of degrees and certificates, financial aid, KEES money and more.

 

Travis discussed the importance of applying for scholarships, and how students should prepare for their freshman year of college.
