CHS girls’ freshmen basketball team wins 20th district championship

Campbellsville High School girls’ freshmen basketball team won the 20th District tournament championship on Wednesday, Feb. 1, at Adair County High School.

 

The team defeated Taylor County in the first round, by a score of 33-23.

 

In the championship game, CHS defeated Marion County in a very close game by a score of 39-38.

 

Anthony Epps is in his first year as CHS girls’ basketball head coach.

 

Assistant coaches are Katie Wilkerson, Natalia Warren, George Eon and Debbie Gowdy-Smith.
