CHS basketball teams take on Marion County

Campbellsville High School boys’ and girls’ varsity basketball teams took on Marion County on Friday, Jan. 13.

 

The girls’ team battled hard, but couldn’t come up with a win.

 

Final score was 35-49.

 

CHS senior Brenna Wethington had nine points and eight rebounds. Campbellsville Middle School eighth-grader Abi Wiedewitsch added eight points to the scoreboard and had nine rebounds.

 

CHS boys’ team lost by a score of 56-78.

 

Anthony Epps is in his first year as CHS girls’ basketball head coach.

 

Assistant coaches are Katie Wilkerson, Natalia Warren, George Eon and Debbie Gowdy-Smith.

 

Tim Davis is in his 22nd year as CHS boys’ basketball head coach.

 

Assistant coaches are Cody Wills, Will Griffin, Chris “Scoop” Smith and Chris “Peewee” Smith.

 

CHS varsity squads will travel to Washington County on Monday, Jan. 30, for a girls’ and boys’ doubleheader. Games begin at 6 p.m.
