CIS raises money for Toys for Tots

Campbellsville Independent Schools is giving back to the Campbellsville/Taylor County community.

 

The District recently raised about $2,000 for the community’s Toys for Tots fundraiser.

 

On Thursday, Dec. 1, CIS principals were live on Q-104 to raise money for the program, which gives toys for children in the community who might otherwise not have Christmas. Toys are delivered on Christmas Eve.

 

Campbellsville Middle School raised about $1,200.

 

Campbellsville Elementary School raised about $500 for the Toys for Tots effort, and CHS raised about $100.

 

To donate to Toys for Tots, call Q-104 at (270) 789-2400. The deadline to donate is Friday, Dec. 16.
