CHS football coach named Coach of the Year

Campbellsville High School head football coach Dale Estes was recently honored for his dedication to the Eagle football program.

His fellow coaches recently voted for him to receive the District 2 Coach of the Year award.

Estes said he is appreciative of the award, and it means people are noticing the work being put into building the Eagle football program.

He also said the award also goes to his assistant coaches, who do a great job of coaching and mentoring their players.

CHS football players were also recently named to the all-district team.

They include seniors Micah Corley, Stone Williams and Arick Groves, junior Tyrion Taylor and freshman Malachi Corley.
