CHS football players honored at banquet

Campbellsville High School football players were recently honored for their hard work and dedication this season.

 

Coaches hosted a banquet for the players at Campbellsville University’s Winters Dining Hall on Monday, Nov. 28.

 

This year’s award winners include the following.

 

Josh Tamez, a junior, received the Scout Team Award.

 

CHS junior Tyrion Taylor was awarded the Defensive Back Award.

 

Devon Reardon, a freshman, and sophomores Charlie Pettigrew and Daesean Vancleave received the Most Improved awards.

 

CHS junior Bryce Richardson received the Academic Award.

 

Logan Brown, a senior, was awarded the Eagle Award.

 

Arick Groves, also a senior, received the Leading Rusher, Scorer and Receiver awards.

 

CHS sophomores Dakota Reardon and Lane Bottoms received the Coaches awards.

 

Malachi Corley, a freshman, was given the Special Teams Award.

 

CHS senior Donnie Osinger received the Defensive Lineman Award.

 

And Micah Corley, also a senior, received the Offensive Lineman, Leading Tackler and Linebacker Awards.

 

Dale Estes is the CHS head football coach.

 

Assistants are Blake Milby, Herb Wiseman, Tyler Hardy, Robbie Gribbins, Jeffrey Demary, Bronson Gowdy, Will Griffin and Aaron Webb.
