CHS marching band advances to KMEA semifinals competition

 

Campbellsville High School marching band has advanced to KMEA semifinals.

 

CHS competed in regionals competition at Madison Southern High School on Saturday, Oct. 20.

 

The band finished in third place, with the top eight bands advancing to semifinals on Saturday, Oct. 27.

Campbellsville High School students recently visited Hinton’s Orchard.

 

CHS Exceptional Child Educator Juanita Young’s students took a trip to the orchard to learn about how it operates.

CIS to host Veterans Day program

 

Campbellsville Independent Schools will host a Veterans Day program for local veterans and community members.

 

The special ceremony will be on Tuesday, Nov. 13, at 9 a.m. in the Campbellsville High School gym.

CIS to host Pink Out, raise money for cancer awareness

 

Campbellsville Independent Schools is raising awareness and money to support those fighting cancer.

 

CIS will host a district-wide Pink Out on Tuesday, Oct. 30.

 

During the Pink Out, students and staff members are encouraged to wear as much pink as possible.

 

And, those who want to wear a hat can do so for a $1 donation. All proceeds will be donated to cancer awareness.
