CHS fishing team hosts first ‘shop and swap’ event


Campbellsville High School fishing team recently hosted its first “shop and swap” event.


Admission proceeds went to the fishing team to help purchase supplies for the upcoming season.

CHS band students participate in CU honors band


Campbellsville High School band students recently participated in the Campbellsville University Honors Band program.


The students attended rehearsals on the CU campus on Thursday, Feb. 14, and Friday, Feb. 15.


More than 100 of the best high school band students around Kentucky were invited to participate.

CIS dismisses school Feb. 20-22


Because of illness, there will be no school in the Campbellsville Independent School System for the remainder of the week, to include Wednesday, Feb. 20, Thursday, Feb. 21, and Friday, Feb. 22.


We hope this break will allow all students and staff members time to get well.


School will resume on Monday, Feb. 25.



Former CHS cheerleading coach to receive Brigid DeVries Award


Campbellsville High School’s former cheerleading coach Carol Gossage will be honored next month for her outstanding leadership skills.


Kentucky High School Coaches Association gives an annual award in honor of the association’s first – and only – female executive director Brigid DeVries.
